A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A RECEIVING ASSOCIATE

Your eye for detail assists you as you receive packages and distribute them throughout the company. You will be on a high-functioning team, working to have an impact on people around the world!

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Attention to detail
  • Basic computer & mathematical skills (Sending emails)
  • Measuring experience preferred (tape measure, calipers)
  • Previous experience with ERP system preferred
  • Previous receiving experience preferred
  • Inventory experience a plus
  • Lean Manufacturing experience a plus
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift 40 lbs unassisted
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and a criminal background check

Primary Duties

  • Unloading trucks and moving product using forklift, pallet jack and dolly
  • Counting product received
  • Scanning and saving paperwork
  • Un-packaging products and verifying against PO requirements
  • Use M1 brand ERP software to document receipt transactions
  • Move materials and products to correct locations throughout the shop
  • Using calipers and measuring tape with different units of measure to verify product
  • Working and communicating with Purchasing, AP, Production, Sales, Quality and other teams.
  • Housekeeping of area and 5S

WORK SCHEDULE

The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday from 8 am-5 pm. You get a 30 minute paid lunch and flexible overtime when needed!
