Packaging Production Operator

Herbally Yours Inc is a Gilbert, Arizona-based contract manufacturing company. JOB SUMMARY

This position is part of our Packaging Production Team, responsible for packaging and label products while ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory standards are met. Operators follow SOPs and cGMPs to maintain a safe and efficient production environment, ensuring proper documentation, equipment operation, and adherence to procedures. The Packaging Production Operator plays a key role in maintaining production schedules, meeting goals, and ensuring high-quality standards. Team members will be involved in tasks such as setting up and operating machinery, inspecting products, and maintaining a clean work environment.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITES
  • Follow batch record instructions and specifications for labeling and packing various products
  • Deposit scrap materials in appropriate location
  • Operate box taper, sealers, and other machinery in the packaging area
  • Place and remove bottles onto and off of conveyors
  • Start equipment at the beginning of the day & shut it down at the end of the day
  • Keep all work areas clean and deposit scrap/damaged materials in appropriate location
  • Package products following a specific set of instructions
  • Clean and prepare containers for packing
  • Load or stuff different products or merchandise
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Visually inspect finished goods in line
  • Check to ensure containers are damagefree
  • Clean packaging department, following room cleaning SOP
  • Follow Good Documentation Practice
  • Work on an assembly line and keep pace continuously
  • Be on a team of 510 people, or sometimes be asked to work productively alone
  • MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Basic Math Skills (counting, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) and Legible Handwriting
  • PHYSICAL DEMANDS
