Position Summary

The Quality Inspector is responsible for inspecting incoming materials, molded and assembled components, and finished packaged products to ensure compliance with quality specifications, customer requirements, and food safety standards. This role helps maintain product integrity, supports production operations, and contributes to our commitment to excellence.

What You'll DoQuality Inspection & Testing
  • Inspect molded parts for cycle time, physical defects, and critical measurements.
  • Perform functional testing, including leak tests, fit tests, and other quality checks.
  • Verify products comply with established quality standards and specifications.
  • Release molds and products that meet quality requirements.
  • Identify, reject, and document defective materials and products.
  • Inspect labels to ensure accuracy and proper product identification.
  • Inspect assembled components and packaged products for quality and compliance.
  • Verify assembly integrity, including pull tests, fit verification, and correct component combinations.
  • Inspect packaging materials, printed information, and production records to ensure suitability and compliance.
Documentation & Continuous Improvement
  • Document inspections, releases, incidents, rework activities, and quality decisions.
  • Submit required records to the Quality Department.
  • Assist in implementing corrective actions and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Safety & Housekeeping
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Be familiar with emergency procedures, safety equipment locations, and fire exits.
  • Immediately report unsafe conditions to supervisors.
What We're Looking ForEducation & Experience
  • High School Diploma, Grade 10 equivalent, or related experience and training.
  • Previous manufacturing, quality control, inspection, or production experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with quality control procedures, testing methods, production processes, and regulatory requirements is an asset.
