Job description

DESCRIPTION

As an assembler, you are always responsible for process safety, reporting product quality, recording production weights, proper packaging, and storing finished goods in assigned location. An Assembler is also a team player.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION

  • Always maintain a safe working atmosphere.
  • Monitoring all work processes for safe working conditions.
  • Practice proper working procedures.
  • Report all violations in safety policies to the Production Supervisor.
  • Maintain a clean working area.
  • Complete all quality checks.
  • Inform supervisor of any safety or quality issues.
  • Complies with all company policies and procedures.
  • Other tasks and duties as assigned.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Able to read and understand work instructions.
  • Able to work scheduled work hours along with occasional required overtime.
  • Able to communicate effectively.
  • Ability to read a tape measure will be very helpful.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Bending, reaching, stretching, kneeling, and stooping.
  • Standing for up to 8 hours at a time.
