Pack Line Operator
1st shift 6AM - 2:30PM Monday - Friday

Position Overview:
Responsible for packing finished product in boxes, loading boxes onto a pallet and moving the pallet to shipping.
What You'll Do
As a Pack Line Operator, you'll be part of our team located in Elyria, OH. You'll get to:
  • Make boxes in which to package finished product.
  • Select the appropriate product to pack based on the information listed on the pan card.
  • Move the product from production into the hopper using a tow motor.
  • Pack the appropriate piece count into each box using the scale.
  • Label each box and send thru the tape machine. Slide taped box onto the pallet.
  • Information on the boxed product is entered into the kiosk which generates a move ticket.
  • Move ticket is put on the completed pallet which is moved to shipping using a tow motor.

Who You Are

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Prior Tow Motor experience preferred.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment requiring the employee to stand and walk for majority of an 8 to 10-hour day.
  • Bend, lift product, equipment and tools up to 50 pounds throughout the day.
  • Push or pull product up to 200 pounds.
  • Use hand tools up to 20 pounds over extended periods of time.
