Job Overview
The Contents Restoration Project Manager / Lead / Supervisor is a leadership role responsible for overseeing contents restoration projects from start to finish. Reporting to the General Manager, this position manages field execution, team performance, client communication, and inventory accuracy across residential and commercial losses.
This role requires a strong balance of hands-on contents restoration experience and project leadership. The ideal candidate demonstrates ownership, attention to detail, and the ability to lead teams through complex and time-sensitive restoration projects while upholding My Contents’ core values of integrity, excellence, stewardship, and a can-do attitude.
Key Responsibilities
Project & Operations Management
  • Oversee contents restoration projects from initial pack-out through cleaning, storage, and final pack-back.
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate daily field activities to ensure projects are completed efficiently and on time.
  • Ensure all work meets company standards, industry best practices, and client expectations.
  • Identify scope changes, risks, or issues and communicate proactively with management.
Team Leadership & Supervision
  • Lead, train, and supervise contents technicians in the field and warehouse.
  • Set clear expectations for performance, productivity, and professionalism.
  • Conduct jobsite oversight, quality control checks, and coaching as needed.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Client & Stakeholder Communication
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for property owners during the contents restoration process.
  • Clearly explain procedures, timelines, and expectations while addressing questions or concerns.
  • Maintain consistent communication with internal project managers, adjusters, and office staff.
  • Represent My Contents professionally at all job sites.
Inventory, Documentation & Systems
  • Oversee accurate inventory, tracking, and documentation using Encircle and related software.
  • Ensure photos, notes, and reports are complete, timely, and compliant with company standards.
  • Coordinate warehouse intake, storage organization, cleaning workflows, and release for pack-back.
Warehouse & Field Support
  • Maintain clean, organized, and efficient warehouse operations.
  • Assist with contents handling, packing, moving, and cleaning as needed, including lifting up to 75 lbs.
  • Participate in emergency response and on-site mitigation services when required.
Qualifications
Experience
  • Proven experience in contents restoration, with demonstrated leadership or supervisory responsibility.
  • Strong understanding of pack-out, cleaning methods, storage, and pack-back operations.
  • Moving, packing, or restoration project management experience is strongly preferred.
Certifications
  • IICRC certification (or willingness to obtain) is highly preferred.
Technical Skills
  • Proficiency with contents management and restoration software (Encircle preferred).
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Comfortable using smartphones, tablets, and apps for documentation and communication.
Communication & Leadership Skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prepare reports, instructions, and project documentation clearly.
  • Confident decision-maker capable of leading teams and resolving issues in the field.
Physical & Environmental Requirements
  • Ability to lift and move items up to 75 pounds.
  • Comfortable working in warehouses and properties affected by water, fire, smoke, or other losses.
  • Ability to work in environments with moderate noise and varying conditions.
  • Must be able to pass a background check (no felonies) and a drug test
