About the Role
Restoration 1 is seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team. This role is responsible for writing, supporting, negotiating, and collecting on invoices for water mitigation, mold remediation, fire and smoke remediation, packouts/pack-ins, contents cleaning, and preparing accurate estimates for reconstruction jobs. The right candidate will be detail-oriented, customer-focused, and skilled in both Xactimate and insurance claim processes.
What You’ll Do
·       Inspect, scope, write and support loss invoices for water, fire, mold, contents, and reconstruction projects.
·       Write accurate, profitable estimates in Xactimate.
·       Submit, negotiate, support, and collect invoices in a timely manner.
·       Build strong relationships with adjusters, clients, and contractors.
·       Collaborate with project managers to ensure successful job completion.
·       Communicate effectively with customers and set clear expectations.
What We’re Looking For
·       4+ years in the property restoration industry.
·       4+ years of hands-on Xactimate experience writing, defending and collecting; prefer non-vendor experience.
·       MUST have experience writing, defending and collecting for ALL losses related to:  Water, Fire/Smoke, Mold, Contents Pack Out/Pack In, Contents cleaning, etc.  
·       Expert knowledge of insurance claims, estimating, and collections.
·       Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
·       IICRC certifications are a plus.
