Material Movement Operator
Pay Rates:
Starting: $20.00
6 Months: $20.75; 1 Year: $21.50
Top out at progression year 3: $23.00

Expectations
Personal safety and clear understanding of safety processes and procedures. Plan, Manage, control & improve the following processes at Decatur plant. FG Outbound process management (FG receipt from production to delivery). Warehousing and inventory management.
Responsibility
Material Movement/Outbound Process
  • Generate pallet labels for the rolls coming off the pack line
  • Scan roll into Bin locations whenever moved within the warehouse
  • Stage and prepare loads for dispatch based on dispatch plan
  • Vehicle loading per picklist/online scanning transactions
  • Dispatch documentation using ERP scanning transactions
  • Unload inbound shipments/materials as required
  • Housekeeping of warehouse & dispatch area
  • Receive pallets from secondary/MET and finish pack-out (including pallet creation)
  • Repack rolls as required in the warehouse
  • Work on the pack line as and when required
  • Provide rolls to secondary slitters and/or metallizer as required
  • Retrieve pallets from the pallet shed for packing (including cutting 2x4s) as required
  • Unload inbound shipments/materials as required
  • Other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements
  • Able to Bend, twist, sit, squat, kneel, crawl, push and pull
  • Able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Able the reach in all directions
  • Able Walk and stand for extended periods of time to cover 12 hour shifts
  • Other physical requirements as needed for job
