Travel RN – Cardiac Cath Lab

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Days | 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM | Onsite

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform nursing duties within a Cardiac Cath Lab setting, functioning as part of a 3-member procedural team for patient cases
  • Assist with left and right heart catheterizations, pacemaker/ICD implantations, Watchman procedures, EP ablations (PFA), IR procedures, and vascular cases
  • Operate and assist with Philips and Siemens fluoroscopy equipment during procedures
  • Document patient care using MERGE Hemo cath lab documentation system and Meditech Expanse EMR
  • Float to Pre/Post Cath Department as needed
  • Adhere to procedural guidelines including universal precautions, timeout procedures, and moderate sedation protocols
Required Qualifications
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Minimum 1 year of Cardiac Cath Lab experience
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Ability to work one full weekend plus two weekdays per four-week schedule (10 shifts per four-week period)
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Electrophysiology (EP) experience strongly preferred
  • Team-oriented and flexible personality well-suited to a fast-paced procedural environment
