About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Indianapolis, Indiana, 46237!

Job Title

Travel: RN CCU (3x12's - Nights)

Location

Indianapolis, IN | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights | 3x12's | 36 Hours Guaranteed Per Week | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in a 16-bed Cardiac Critical Care Unit managing a 1:1, 1:2, or 1:3 patient ratio
  • Care for post-Cath STEMI and NSTEMI patients, direct admits from other facilities, and medical ICU overflow
  • Manage ventilated patients with respiratory therapy support and titrate vasoactive drips
  • Operate specialized equipment including Arctic Sun, temporary pacemakers, and Swan-Ganz catheters
  • Document patient care accurately using Epic EMR
  • Float to other units first in low-census situations as needed
Required Qualifications
  • Active RN license valid for the state of Indiana
  • BLS certification required
  • ACLS certification required
  • Minimum 2 years of critical care experience
  • Demonstrated experience with ventilator management and titratable vasoactive drips
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Experience with cardiac critical care populations including STEMI and NSTEMI patients
  • Familiarity with Swan-Ganz catheter monitoring and temporary pacemaker management
  • Prior experience with Arctic Sun temperature management system
  • Experience working in a high-acuity ICU environment with complex cardiac patients
