Coverage Needed

  • Start Date: September 2026
  • Schedule: 10:30pm - 7:30am (cannot be changed)
  • Open Dates: September 16 (10:30p) - 24 (7:30a); October 11 (10:30p) - 20 (7:30a); December 10 (10:30p) - 16 (7:30a)
  • Shifts Per Month: will need a minimum of 12 additional shifts or 108 hours a month of locum coverage beginning in September
  • May need to cover additional sites

Clinical Details

  • EMR System: Epic
  • Beds: 220
  • Inpatient + Call
  • Trauma Level: III
  • Required Skills/Duties: Invasive ventilation management (ETT/Tracheostomy/NT); Non-invasive ventilation management (BiPAP/CPAP); Central line placement; Arterial line placement; Chest tube insertion; Temporary transvenous pacemaker placement; Lumbar puncture; Thoracentesis; Paracentesis; Respond to codes
  • Average Volume: 2 patients per hour; 42k at primary campus
  • Support Staff: Double and triple covered until 2am, then single coverage from 2am-6am; Another physician available for consultation at other location

Requirements

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible (certification to be obtained within 5 years of residency)
    • ABEM/AOBEM only
  • Certifications: ACLS (for conscious sedation privileges), BLS
  • Licenses: Active IN state license
    • will consider IMLC, but IN license preferred
  • Flu & Covid Vaccinations: Required or Need Medical or religious exemption
  • Must be able to cover most of the listed dates
  • CSR required prior to start
