Exceptional Cardiac Electrophysiology Opportunity In Central Indiana - Advanced Facilities, High Procedure Volume, and Comprehensive Support!
Healthcare United is currently seeking a Board-Eligible or Board-Certified Cardiac Electrophysiologist to join a highly respected and well-established healthcare system located just 20 minutes from Franklin County, Ohio. This is an outstanding opportunity for a motivated and skilled electrophysiologist who thrives in a collaborative environment focused on delivering exceptional, outcomes-driven cardiac care.
Position Overview:
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
- Evening Hours: Two evening clinics per year (5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.)
- Saturday Clinic: Two per year (7:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.) to enhance patient access
- Call Schedule:
- Weekend call: 1:6 (supported by a four-physician team)
- Inpatient call: 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. one evening every 4-5 weeks
- Overnight support provided by three dedicated cardiac hospitalists (9:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m.)
- Patient Volumes:
- Clinic: Average of 22 patients/day
- Inpatient: Average of 15-20 patients/day
- Procedure Volume: 200+ cases/year on average
- Permanent Pacemaker and ICD implants
- Leadless Pacemaker implants and lead extractions
- Ablations: Atrial Fibrillation, Atrial Flutter, SVT, VT
- Cryoablation
- Left Atrial Appendage Closure
- Convergent procedures (in collaboration with cardiovascular surgery team)
- Access to state-of-the-art lab facilities
- Board-Eligible or Board-Certified in Cardiology Electrophysiology
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
