What is the Pac-10 Conference?

The Pac-10 Conference, short for the Pacific-10 Conference, was a collegiate athletic conference in the western United States. It was composed of ten member universities and was known for its strong competition in NCAA Division I sports, particularly football and basketball. In 2011, the conference expanded and became the Pac-12 Conference with the addition of two more schools.
