Come join us at Toyota of York! We offer a fun and friendly work environment within a lucrative field of work. If you are a Certified PA State Inspector, this may be a good fit for you! 


Salary: $37K-$40K annually

Hours: Tue-Fri, 7am-4:30pm. Optional Mondays with INCENTIVE PAY


Summary: Perform Toyota auto care services to include lube, oil, and filter changes, balancing and rotation of tires, in addition to flushing cooling systems.


Essential Duties:

Perform multi point inspection (MPI) to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended.

Perform work per directed on repair order (RO) according to York Auto Group and Toyota standards.

Inspect vehicle fluid levels, replenish as necessary.

Perform State inspection and emissions testing if tech possesses current certifications.

Check tire pressure and add air if needed.

Obtain needed parts from Parts department.

Communicates with ASM (Assistant Service Manager) immediately if additional work is needed, if work ordered is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time.

Documents all work performed and any recommendations on the RO.

Safely road test vehicles.

Maintain cleanliness of customers vehicles. Notify ASM immediately of any changes to the appearance or condition of the vehicle.

Proper maintenance of all dealership tools and manuals.

Operate all tools and equipment in a safe manner.

Other duties as assigned.


Requirements

Qualifications:

Previous vehicle maintenance experience preferred.

Current PA Inspection and Emissions certifications preferred.

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred.

Current Driver's license required.


Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an Associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

Regularly required to talk or hear.

Ability to stand and walk throughout shift.

Ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, push, pull, lift and grasp.

Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Subject to inside environmental changes: Protection from weather conditions and temperature changes.

Consistently lifting up to 30 lbs, occasionally up to 100 lbs.
