PVT Engineer
Overview
We are seeking an PVT Engineer to support product quality, ongoing product development, and issue resolution within a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to improve electrical system performance, resolve quality concerns, and support production activities.
Key Responsibilities
  • Support ongoing product development and quality improvement initiatives for electrical and electronic systems.
  • Analyze and resolve product quality issues using structured problem-solving methodologies.
  • Track warranty-related issues and drive resolution activities.
  • Identify opportunities for quality improvements and implement corrective actions.
  • Evaluate field issues and recommend improvements to internal measurement and containment processes.
  • Collaborate with product development, supplier, and production teams to resolve internal and external quality concerns.
  • Support launch activities, including part sign-off, issue resolution, and electrical testing.
  • Assist with production trials and troubleshooting of production units.
  • Contribute to achieving overall product quality objectives.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Product Engineer or Quality Engineer in an electrical or software environment.
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
  • Experience with structured problem-solving methodologies such as Six Sigma tools, 8D, 5 Whys, or similar approaches.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work effectively in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a closely related field.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Product Engineer or Quality Engineer in an electrical or software environment.
  • Automotive industry experience.
  • Six Sigma training.
  • Experience using Jira.
  • Experience with vehicle OBD systems and CAN networking.
  • Strong decision-making and troubleshooting skills.
