Job description

Our client, a well-established, specialty design and project management engineering firm, is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer, P.E. with experience in marine and industrial port facility design and project management. This role involves working on dry and liquid bulk terminals, including structures such as docks, wharves, mooring systems, conveyors, and industrial land developments. Furthermore, there's room for professional growth and the firm offers a competitive compensation and benefits package, and there are location options in Southeast Texas and South Louisiana.
Responsibilities Include:
  • Design marine and industrial infrastructure (docks, wharves, mooring buoys, etc.)
  • Manage projects and support construction efforts as owner's representative
  • Use Civil 3D for grading, earthwork, and site development
  • Interface with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders

Qualifications include:
  • B.S. in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Active P.E. license or ability to obtain in a timely manner
  • 4+ years of experience in marine/port or industrial design projects
  • Proficiency in Civil 3D and structural design software
