Job description

Ozaukee County is looking for responsible individuals to work in our Planning and Parks Department - Parks Division, part-time, through December. The County Park System includes 13 County Parks, the Ozaukee Interurban Trail and two County-owned golf courses.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist with general maintenance of the County parks and trails including, but not limited to: mowing grass; weed trimming; invasive species management, tree and shrub planting, trimming, removal or pruning; litter and garbage pick-up; bathroom cleaning; empty/clean fire pits and grills; clean shelters and buildings; trail and ground maintenance; open and close park gates; assist in special construction projects, and other park and trail maintenance duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Individuals must have a valid Wisconsin Driver's License, and experience in parks, golf courses, or other recreation maintenance field. Outdoor work experience preferred.
LOCATION
These positions will work throughout the County Park System.
SALARY RANGE/HOURS:
$14.99- $17.07 per hour. Seasonal part-time hours which include some early morning shifts, mid- afternoon shifts and also may include some weekend hours. 20-40 hours per week.
