Dave Hausbeck Trucking (DHT Group) is seeking experienced CDL-A Owner/Operators to work with our Propane Division based in Port Huron, Michigan.
If you're an experienced Owner/Operator looking for specialized, year-round freight backed by an established carrier, DHT offers the opportunity to put your equipment and experience to work hauling propane throughout Michigan and surrounding regional service areas.

Owner/Operator Responsibilities
  • Safely transport propane (UN1075)
  • Load and unload propane using appropriate pumping equipment
  • Perform required pre-trip and post-trip inspections
  • Maintain accurate ELDs and shipping documentation
  • Properly maintain hoses, valves, placards, and tanker equipment
  • Maintain equipment in accordance with applicable DOT and safety requirements
  • Provide professional service to DHT customers
  • Maintain DHT standards for safe and professional operation
Qualifications
  • Valid Class A CDL
  • Hazmat (H) and Tanker (N) endorsements required - drivers holding the combined X endorsement are encouraged to apply
  • Minimum two years of verifiable CDL-A driving experience preferred
  • Experience hauling propane, LPG, anhydrous ammonia, refined fuels, or other bulk liquid/gas commodities strongly preferred
  • Ability to meet applicable DOT qualification requirements
  • Ability to safely work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
  • Owner/Operator equipment must meet applicable DHT, DOT, and regulatory requirements
