Job description

The Love Family of Dealerships have built a solid reputation as North Central Florida's premiere group of dealerships and have been Family Owned and Operated since 1989 and continue to grow! We've expanded our product lines, and we're looking for professional, enthusiastic, goal oriented, individuals to join our team. You must possess a great attitude, the willingness to learn, and understand what it is to be a team player. Love Motorsports of Ocoee is located at 11953 W. Colonial Drive and features ATV's, Side By Sides, Motorcycles & Scooters, Golf Carts, Mowers and Compact Tractors to name a few.


Qualified candidates will be required to have FORKLIFT experience and preferably certification. Candidates should be familiar with the operation of most, if not all, of the above types of vehicles and should have previous detail experience, including the application of various exterior and interior paint and surface cleaners and protectants, and the proper use of other chemicals, polishers, and other related tools and products.


Primary responsibilities maintaining organization of and/or display of both customer and company owned vehicles as directed by management. Perform daily inspection and operation of forklifts and other company vehicles to facilitate unloading of both crated and uncrated vehicles for the sales staff and staging customer vehicles outside of and/or into service bays for service department technicians both before and after service work is performed. Occasional pick up and/or delivery of customer vehicles via company provided truck and trailer may be needed. Candidates should have experience towing and backing a trailer, as well as be familiar with strapping and securing these vehicles properly for transit.


Additional responsibilities will include prepping newly purchased units for customer delivery, re-conditioning trade in vehicles, and pressure washing and cleaning customer owned vehicles prior to and after service work has been completed. Additional responsibilities include maintaining the exterior and interior condition and appearance of vehicles on display both inside and outside of our facility and maintaining the organization and inventory levels of approved products and chemicals approved for use.


Familiarity of the above vehicle use and operation, experience with forklift operation are basic needs of the position but paid training is available for the right candidate. A valid drivers license (preferably with motorcycle endorsement) is also needed. Key benefits include:

Porter Essential Duties

Under the direction of Sales Manager, Business Manager, and/or General Manager: Ensure "Retail Ready" cleanliness of vehicles located in showrooms and outside displays. Maintain cleanliness of waverunner gunnels and tent trailers staged outside.

Provide detail staff support as directed by management. Assist sales staff with daily vehicle displays and organization.

Assist sales staff with coordinating cleaning of sold vehicles and trade in vehicles. Back Up to detail staff as needed days off, vacation, and lunch schedules.



Maintain vehicle fuel levels to be ready for customer demonstration. Run and inspect condition and operation of vehicles.

Rotate vehicles daily as directed through battery charging area.

Ensure vehicles on display have proper placement of decals and/or tag brackets. Ensure keytags, lanyards, and/or vehicle accessories are properly identified and stored


Unloading and check in of vehicles, both crated (forklift} and roll off.

Ensure crates are labelled with vehicle stock number and description as directed. Move crated units to designated storage area as directed.


Other Job Duties:

Pick up and delivery of vehicles as needed.

Maintain cleanliness and safe operation of company owned vehicles. Provide assistance preparing for and/or attending off site events.

Provide assistance to sales staff with loading and unloading of vehicles. Promote Cleanliness of exterior and interior of facilities.




Physical Demands:

Job will require sitting, standing, bending, stooping, crouching, reaching, and twisting to perform daily tasks.

Ability to safely maneuver 900 + pound vehicles, at times using other mechanical equipment {forklift}

Must be able to lift 50 pounds, either assisted or unassisted, sometimes in uncomfortable positions. Proficient use of hand and pneumatic tools, great manual dexterity.

Working conditions is usually loud. Frequently work near moving parts.

Potential exposure to battery acid, gasoline, oils and lubricants, chemical cleaning materials, and occasional exposure to exhaust fumes or other airborne particles.
