Role Overview:
The Analyst / Associate / Senior Associate will be a key member of the acquisitions team supporting the evaluation, execution, and management of net lease investments as well as supporting other functions within the organization.
This role offers broad exposure to underwriting, transaction execution and structuring, capital markets, and investor-facing activities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Additionally, this role offers significant exposure to senior investment professionals and the opportunity to take on increasing responsibility over time.
This role is based in New York or Chicago.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Support underwriting and execution efforts for acquisitions, dispositions and financings of net lease transactions, including but not limited to gathering and analyzing real estate sales and leasing comps, evaluating real estate market fundamentals, cap rates, and tenant credit, and assessing financing structures and capital strategies
  • Build and maintain detailed financial models for individual assets, portfolios, corporates, and funds
  • Develop marketing and presentations materials for investors and potential sale-leaseback and built-to-suit partners
  • Prepare investment memoranda and credit underwriting materials and present to investment committee
  • Assist investor relations by responding to due diligence requests and data inquiries
  • Coordinate with asset management on business plan execution, reporting, documentation, and ongoing portfolio management
  • Support senior investment team members in sourcing transactions

Qualifications:
  • 2-5 years of experience in investment banking, real estate private equity, corporate finance, or a related field
  • Deep understanding of real estate underwriting, financial statements, valuation methodologies, corporate capital structures and public company filings
  • Demonstrated interest in real estate and private equity investing
  • Exceptional analytical, quantitative and modeling skills with strong attention to detail
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Highly motivated, proactive, and able to manage multiple workstreams in a dynamic environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

It is expected that the base annual salary range for this New York City or Chicago-based position will be $120,000 to $150,000. Actual salaries may vary based on factors, such as skill, experience, and qualification for the role. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, based on factors such as individual and team performance.
