Overview

We are seeking an experienced Space Auditor to support a federal space management program by maintaining accurate facility, occupancy, and space utilization data. This role is responsible for conducting facility audits, validating occupancy information, updating floor plans and seating assignments, and supporting strategic space planning initiatives across multiple government facilities.

The ideal candidate has experience with ARCHIBUS (or similar CAFM software), AutoCAD, Revit, space planning, facility audits, and occupancy management within secure government environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct facility and workspace audits to verify occupancy, seating assignments, room usage, and personnel locations.
  • Perform field measurements and validate room dimensions, layouts, and space configurations.
  • Update floor plans, seating charts, and space allocation records.
  • Maintain accurate occupancy, vacancy, capacity, and utilization data.
  • Analyze facility utilization and identify discrepancies requiring correction.
  • Gather and coordinate customer space requirements with government stakeholders.
  • Work closely with Space Coordinators, Building Managers, Site Chiefs, and other facility personnel.
  • Develop and revise floor plans using AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Read and interpret architectural drawings, blueprints, and construction documents.
  • Update and maintain facility data using ARCHIBUS or comparable Computer-Aided Facility Management (CAFM) software.
  • Generate occupancy, utilization, and capacity reports.
  • Support strategic space planning and workplace utilization initiatives.
  • Assist with accountability and validation of 1450 and 1450-1 accountable spaces.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and briefings for government leadership.
  • Coordinate multiple projects while meeting deadlines and changing priorities.
  • Travel to domestic and international government facilities to conduct space audits and assessments.
