About the Role:
Overseas Cargo Services Inc is looking for an experienced CDL A Port & Container Driver to join our team in Avenel, NJ! This is a great opportunity to work with a trusted name in freight and cargo logistics, where your skills behind the wheel are valued and rewarded. Responsibilities:
  • Operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport containers to and from port terminals, rail yards, and customer locations
  • Pick up and deliver intermodal containers safely and on schedule
  • Navigate port facilities, including terminal check-ins, gate procedures, and container pickups
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch, port personnel, and customers
Requirements:
  • Valid CDL Class A license required
  • Minimum 2+ years of verifiable experience in port, intermodal, or container trucking
  • Familiarity with port terminal operations, container chassis, and intermodal freight
  • Clean MVR and satisfactory driving record
  • Must meet DOT physical and compliance requirements
  • TWIC Card (Transportation Worker Identification Credential)  required
  • Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused with a professional attitude
