Summary/Objective
The primary functions of the Supervisor I, in his/her operational facility, are to ensure that all requirements of the Performance Work Statement / Statement of Work (PWS/SOW) are met or exceeded, and all services are performed within quality standards and cost objectives and in support of the mission of WSC. FT, $19.25hr, Overnight Supervisor
Essential Functions

  1. Ensures all requirements of the PWS/SOW are met.
  2. Ensures all operational and safety procedures are properly followed, maintaining a clean and safe work area, ensuring all employees are trained as required.
  3. Verifies facility is prepared for service as required.
  4. May schedule and train staff are knowledgeable of the requirements and application of the PWS, SOW, Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA), and personnel policies as required.
  5. Monitors safety aspects relating to facility, equipment, and personnel; taking corrective educational actions as required.
  6. Responsible for ordering and maintaining facility supplies and storage areas.
  7. Ensures the highest level of customer service is consistently provided.
  8. Ensures all reports and correspondence relating to the operation are accurately prepared and submitted in a timely manner.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position is responsible for the supervision and oversight of employees in the operational facility and may be responsible for the performance management, and discipline of the employees within the operational facility.
Work Environment
This job operates in an operational setting. The employee is exposed to a variety of extreme conditions such as extreme heat and / or cold, exposure to moving mechanical parts and vibration, and the noise level in the work environment can be loud.
Physical Demands
The employee is occasionally required to sit, and employee is required to talk and hear, stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms, sit, climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, forty hours per work, occasional evening and weekend work may be required.
Travel
Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out of the area travel and overnight may be expected for conferences.
Required Education and Experience
  1. High school graduate or GED required.

Preferred Education and Experience
  1. Associate degree in Business Management.
  2. Basic knowledge of various equipment used in accordance with the contracts PWS / SOW.
  3. Supervisory experience preferred.

Licenses/Work Authorization/Security Clearance
  1. Valid Driver's License with certificate of insurability (corporate auto policy).
  2. Drug Screen.
  3. WSC background check.
  4. Appropriate background check for contract i.e., NACI, TxDOT, DPS.
