This role involves leading day-to-day pallet repair operations, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity standards are met, and supporting a **growing, developing workforce** that includes several new employees. The supervisor is expected to balance operational execution with employee coaching, performance management, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced production environment.### Schedule, Travel, and Language Requirements* **Shift:** 3rd Shift, 10:00 PM - 8:00 AM* **Travel:** No travel required* **Languages:** English required. **French and Portuguese are not required but are considered a strong asset**, as they support effective communication within a diverse workforce.### Key Projects and Focus (First 12 Months)During the initial year, the post holder will play a key role in:* Developing and stabilizing a budding pallet repair crew with a high proportion of new hires* Establishing consistent work practices and reinforcing safety, quality, and productivity expectations* Supporting onboarding, training, and skill development for new employees* Building team engagement and accountability through **positive, hands-on leadership*** Partnering with operations leadership on workforce growth, performance tracking, and continuous improvement initiatives### Required Qualifications and Technical Skills* Prior experience leading teams in a manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial environment preferred* Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and motivate employees, particularly in a production setting* **Microsoft Office skills preferred**, including basic use of Excel, Word, and email systems for reporting and communication* Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills* Commitment to workplace safety, quality standards, and employee development### Team and Role CultureThis position supports a team that is actively growing and evolving.
