Job description

Spend an incredible summer as an EMT at Camp Zeke! Camp Zeke celebrates healthy, active living through whole foods, sports, fitness, and culinary arts! We are located on 560 serene acres in The Pocono Mountains and have campers ages 7-17. This role requires current EMT certification.

The dates for this position are from June 17, 2026 until August 9, 2026. There is some flexibility with the start date.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the safety and wellbeing of campers and staff.
  • Addresses emergencies such as allergic reactions or injuries.
  • Administers first aid and medications as directed under the standing orders, camp policies, and health supervisor.
  • Our EMTs' primary work shift will be the overnight shift.
  • Works with the camp nurses and doctor, and properly communicates and documents all work.
  • Care for sick or injured campers daily
  • Ensures a positive, fun experience for all campers & an amazing summer of growth!

Requirements:

  • Must be a certified EMT.
  • Must be available to live on-site at our camp in Lakewood, PA for the duration of your contract.
  • Experience in both children and adult illness/injury care
