Job Title: Inpatient Pharmacist

Location:New York, NYย 
Duration: 14 Weeks
Pay Rate: $70 - $90/hr (based on experience)

Schedule:

  • 37.5 Hours per Week
  • 5 Days per Week
  • Evening/Night Shifts
  • Typical Shift: 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM
  • Occasional: 12:00 AM - 8:30 AM
  • Weekends & holidays as needed

Job Summary

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Inpatient Pharmacist to support hospital pharmacy operations in a high-acuity inpatient setting. The pharmacist will be responsible for ensuring safe, accurate, and effective medication use through order verification, compounding support, and clinical collaboration.

This role requires strong inpatient hospital pharmacy experience, attention to patient safety, and the ability to work evening and overnight shifts.


Key Responsibilities
  • Review medication orders for accuracy, safety, and appropriateness
  • Prepare, compound, and dispense medications per hospital protocols
  • Provide clinical pharmacy support and drug information to providers
  • Monitor medication therapy and recommend interventions
  • Maintain accurate pharmacy documentation and records
  • Participate in sterile compounding and IV preparation

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Pharmacy (PharmD preferred)
  • Active New York State Pharmacist License (NYSED)
  • Minimum 1 year pharmacist experience
  • Strong knowledge of inpatient pharmacy operations and medication safety
  • Ability to work evening, night, and rotating shifts

Preferred Experience
