Solid business acumen to understand customers goals. Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to close the sales. Solid organizational and planning skills are also needed.Technology Aptitude/Other: Intermediate computer skills including MS Outlook, Word, and Excel along with the ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, metric conversions, area calculations, and apply concepts of basic algebra.Language Skills: Excellent verbal/written communication skills with the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals; to respond to common inquires or complaints from Customers or the public; to write routine reports and correspondence; to speak effectively before large groups of Customers or Employees of the organization.Core Values & Behaviors: Driven, Strong Communication Skills, Conscientious, Customer Focused, Ethical Integrity, and Hard Work Ethic. Some overnight travel may also be needed.Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the Employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions and possibly inclement weather while traveling. The Employee works with and in proximity to material handling equipment including forklifts and cranes. The Employee works with and in proximity to packaged, cement-based products such as grouts and cleaning and sealing chemicals for tile and stone. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle and feel; to talk and hear; and to operate a motor vehicle. The employee is frequently required to walk; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, lift and/or move up to 15 lbs. and is occasionally required to climb or balance and lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include color vision, close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus.
