Position Overview
Citadel Security USA is seeking a dependable Unarmed Overnight Security Officer to provide security services at a critical infrastructure facility in Fort Collins. This position is responsible for helping safeguard personnel, property, and essential operations through proactive patrols, controlled site access, and prompt response to security-related situations.
The successful candidate will demonstrate professionalism, sound judgment, and the ability to work independently while maintaining a secure environment during overnight operations.
Primary Responsibilities
Site Security
  • Conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols throughout assigned areas.
  • Monitor buildings, perimeter fencing, gates, parking areas, and other designated locations.
  • Maintain a visible security presence to discourage unauthorized activity.
  • Observe and report unsafe conditions, security risks, or property damage.

Access Control
  • Verify identification and authorization before allowing entry to restricted areas.
  • Monitor visitor, contractor, and employee access in accordance with site procedures.
  • Secure entrances, exits, and controlled access points throughout the shift.
  • Follow all client security protocols and post instructions.
