While nursing is a healthcare profession, working in technology generally requires specific technical skills and certifications; however, some nurses work in health informatics or medical technology roles that combine healthcare knowledge with tech skills. Transitioning from nursing to a tech role may involve additional training or education in areas like health IT, data management, or software systems.
