• Conduct thorough bio-psychosocial evaluations to develop a comprehensive understanding of patient needs.
• Formulate and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based therapies, addressing patients' unique challenges.
• Collaborate with medical and support staff to coordinate care, ensuring a holistic approach to patient well-being.
• Provide ongoing education and guidance to patients and families, helping them understand treatment options and recovery processes.
• Document all social work activities accurately in patients' medical records in accordance with department policies and standards.
• Assess advocacy needs and connect patients with community resources to enhance their social support networks.
• Maintain an awareness of emerging community resources and continuously seek opportunities to improve patient care and resources.

As an LCSW at Sun Valley Consultation Services, you will primarily work with individuals facing various psychosocial challenges related to substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions. Our patient population comprises adults seeking recovery and restoration of their well-being, often requiring tailored therapeutic interventions that take into account their individual backgrounds, developmental stages, and cultural contexts.

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid LCSW license recognized by the State Board of Social Work Licensure.
• Demonstrated understanding of the complexities of human behavior and development across different age groups.
• A commitment to ethical practice as outlined in the NASW Code of Ethics and adherence to professional standards.

• A minimum of six months to one year of clinical experience in health or mental health settings, specifically with populations similar to those you will serve.
• Experience implementing group and individual therapy modalities effectively.
