DevOps Engineer
Location:Remote, US
US Citizen or Permanent Resident
Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines, automation scripts, and infrastructure as code (IaC) in order to automate and simplify the software delivery process.
  • Automate manual procedures, perform capacity planning, and monitor and optimize infrastructure costs.
  • Setup monitoring and alerting to ensure systems are performing as expected.
  • Evaluate and refine processes, tools, and methodologies to achieve better results.
  • Represent the team by skilled interactions with internal and external clients to inspire confidence, ensure transparency and manage overall expectations.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation and handle periodic out-of-band requests
Requirements
  • Ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience working with automation tools, such as CI/CD, Terraform, AzureDevOps and Powershell.
  • Have setup monitoring to ensure the environments are working as expected, and alerting mechanisms to resolve issues before they impact our customers.
  • Ability to visualize and document the DevOps processes, including mentoring team members in proper use of tools and techniques.
  • Familiarity with database migration tools, such as www.dbmgr.net, EF Migrations, or Flyway.
  • Have strong communication, interpersonal and leadership skills and an "everything as code" mindset.
  • Earned a bachelor's degree in computer science, or a related field or have equivalent work experience.
