Job description

This is an in-office role based in Spartanburg, SC.
Position: Property Accountant
Department: Accounting
Exempt
Position Reports to: Lead Hotel Accountant
OTO Development is pleased to announce a wonderful opportunity for a Property Accountant.
What will you be doing most days?
• Be in full-charge bookkeeping duties for multiple hotel sites
• Oversee the daily posting of hotel financial results
• Create a monthly variance analysis of hotel income statements
• Oversee the monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
• Be the lead contact with hotel management's accounting needs
• Complete year-end audit requests
What are the requirements for this position?
• You have two or more years' experience in accounting, preferably with experience in multiple locations or sites
• You have a Bachelor of Science degree (B.S. /B.A.)
• You work well in a team environment
• You have strong Excel skills - Experience with Microsoft Dynamics SL (Solomon)
• You have a strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
Physical Requirements for this Position
This is largely a sedentary role; however, you must be able to walk and stand for extended periods of time as the job dictates
Travel Requirements
This position requires up to 10% travel. Travel may be outside the local area and overnight.
