Schedule: Monday–FridayJob SummaryA Team Home Services is hiring a skilled Service Carpenter & Handyman with extensive residential carpentry, repair, maintenance, and installation experience. This full-time position is ideal for a versatile tradesperson who can independently complete finish carpentry, general handyman work, drywall repair, painting, basic plumbing and electrical repairs, and remodeling punch-list items while delivering exceptional customer service and craftsmanship.What You'll Do
  • Perform residential carpentry, repair, maintenance, and installation projects.
  • Install and repair doors, trim, baseboards, crown molding, cabinets, shelving, built-ins, hardware, windows, and other finish carpentry components.
  • Complete framing, structural repairs, punch-out work, and general carpentry installations.
  • Perform drywall repairs including patching, tape and float work, texture matching, and painting/touch-ups.
  • Complete general handyman repairs and installations.
  • Troubleshoot and perform basic plumbing and electrical repairs and fixture replacements.
  • Accurately measure, cut, and install materials to within 1/16 inch.
  • Read project scopes, layouts, plans, and specifications.
  • Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and specialty carpentry equipment.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites.
  • Document work performed and communicate professionally with customers.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of residential carpentry, remodeling, maintenance, or handyman experience (required).
  • Strong finish carpentry skills including trim, doors, cabinetry, and installations.
  • 3+ years of drywall repair including tape and float work.
  • 3+ years of painting and touch-up experience.
  • 1+ year of basic plumbing experience.
  • 1+ year of basic electrical experience.
  • Extremely proficient with hand and power tools.
  • Ability to read measurements to 1/16 inch.
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, customer service, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Valid driver's license.
Pay & Growth StructureThis position is paid through a commission/performance-based compensation structure, with annual earning potential ranging from $60,000 to $100,000+ depending on productivity, skill level, efficiency, quality of work, customer satisfaction, and overall performance.
This is not a guaranteed salary range. Actual earnings are based on completed work, performance, and business volume.
