Position Requirements
Description
CRNA opening in the large, lively city of Chicago, IL, supporting a fast-paced Level I trauma center, Mount Sinai Hospital. The main campus of this major city hospital is situated next to Douglass Park. Serving a diverse population, the 319-bed facility functions at a swift pace, with a talented and supportive team of surgeons and staff members. Mount Sinai Hospital offers a fast-paced environment with outstanding surgeons and support staff.
Total Rewards
Salary: W2 $205 hr. / 1099/$215 hr.
Schedule
• Schedule: 8's and 24's. No call, 24-hour CRNAs provide night coverage. No backup call.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures
• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent
• Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients
• Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed
• Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership
Requirements
• Current license as a registered professional nurse
• Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education
• Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
