Job description

About the Opportunity

This position is for Express Employment Professionals at one of our client locations in Quapaw, OK.

Begin your journey on day shift while you train, then transition to overnight production supporting 8โ€“12 hour operations. Pay is $22.30/hour and based on experience.

A Day in the Life

You arrive, check the Tier 1 board, and share a safety, quality, or cost improvement idea before the shift huddle. You review the SOPs and EIs for the job of the day, confirm LOTO and MOC requirements, and bring the system online. Throughout the shift, you monitor process conditions on the PLC, pull samples for chemical lab analysis, and log batch data on paper records. When the process calls for it, you break chemical lines and clean vessels to prepare for routine procedures or maintenance. Between runs, you support setup and tear-down, drive a forklift as needed, perform TPM tasks assigned in the LMS, and keep an eye on SPC trends in DPQxโ€”reporting any abnormalities to leadership. As an Operator I, you run independently in the areas where youโ€™re certified, and you jump into Kaizen events when scheduled.

Where Youโ€™ll Work

Multi-area chemical manufacturing that may include: tower operations, BAPA II, BF3, Centorr, Bromination/Reduction, EDM, and/or AMF.

What Youโ€™ll Do
  • Follow all safety policies, Safe Work Practices, and environmental/quality expectations.
  • Learn and apply LOTO (Lock Out Tag Out), MOC (Management of Change), SOPs, Standard Work Procedures, and Engineering Instructions (EI).
  • Use basic computer skills to enter data and monitor process equipment via PLC.
  • Perform accurate, reliable chemical laboratory analyses to procedure.
  • Execute standard work consistently and precisely.
  • Safely break chemical lines and clean vessels to support process steps and maintenance prep.
  • Record process parameters and batch progress on paper logs as required.
  • Rotate between extended process monitoring and hands-on setup/teardown tasks.
  • Engage daily in the Tier 1 process by generating safety, quality, and cost ideas.
  • Participate in Kaizen events focused on process improvement.
  • Complete TPM (Total Performance Maintenance) activities through the LMS.
  • Use DPQx SPC to track process health; escalate abnormalities to leadership promptly.
  • Operate a forklift when assigned.
  • Maintain regular, predictable attendance.
  • Work any shift and cover overtime to support production needs.
  • Operate independently in certified areas as an Operator I.
What You Bring
  • General knowledge of production principles and defect detection/correction.
  • Basic understanding of Lean concepts.
Schedule & Pay
  • Train on days; move to overnights (8โ€“12 hour shifts).
  • Pay: $22.30/hour (based on experience).
