Mechanical Engineering Manager Opportunity - Troy, MI Area - Machine Build / Capital Equipment

A multinational Machine Builder / Capital Equipment Manufacturer with a facility in the Troy, MI area is currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineering Manager for a long-term, direct-hire opportunity with their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for an Engineering Manager who is looking for a company that offers excellent growth opportunities, and competitive benefits and pay rates! Pay rates will be salaried and are anticipated to be in the range of $100,000-$150,000 commensurate with experience. Qualified candidates for the Mechanical Engineering Manager position will have most, if not all, of the following skills and experience:

  • BS in Mechanical Engineering Required
  • 5+ years of experience with the engineering and design of CNC machinery: machine frames, enclosures, tool changers, materials, motion controls, hydraulics / pneumatics, etc.
  • Solid knowledge of budgets, quotes, and scheduling for Machine Assembly Projects.
  • Experience with managing teams of Engineers and Designers.
  • Travel will likely be in the 10-25% overnight range, typically shorter durations of trips and on the lower side of the range. This is a customer facing role.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States (no student visas or sponsorship candidates considered), and complete standard pre-hire checks including background, drug screen, references, etc.
