Filta Environmental Kitchen Solutions is seeking motivated and reliable Fryer Service Technicians to join our growing team in Bridgeview, IL. Full-time and part-time positions available, with afternoon or overnight shifts.
What You'll Do:
This is an "overnight" position- hours are 3am-11am.

  • Clean and maintain commercial kitchen equipment, specializing in deep fryers.
  • Operate a state-of-the-art mobile filtration unit to efficiently clean and restore fryer performance.
  • Drain and dispose of waste cooking oil responsibly and safely.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to restaurant owners and managers.
  • Work safely and efficiently within a fast-paced environment.
  • Utilize a user-friendly mobile app to track service records and communicate with the office.
  • Drive safely and maintain a clean and organized service van.
  • Follow assigned routes ensuring all appointments are completed on time.
  • Be knowledgeable about all Filta service lines, including kitchen drain foaming, cooler moisture management, and kitchen equipment deep cleaning.
Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 75 lbs
  • Ability to work in varying temperatures (may experience hot and cold environments)
  • Comfortable with and ability to use a smartphone and apps
  • Ability to work independently and problem-solve
  • Comfortable interacting with important customers and clients both in person and on the phone
Experience:

  • Experience driving a cargo van-sized vehicle preferred (not required)
  • Commercial kitchen experience preferred (not required)
