As a Security Officer - Overnight Fire Watch, your role will vary depending on the site and the night. Whether it's rounds, monitoring, or documentation, we need you to stay alert and precise from start to finish.

Responsibilities for Overnight Fire Watch Security Guard:

  • Conduct continuous fire watch rounds throughout the overnight shift
  • Monitor the premises for fire hazards, unsafe conditions, and suspicious activity
  • Maintain accurate logs documenting each round and any observations
  • Respond quickly to alarms, incidents, or potential threats
  • Control access points and verify identities as needed
  • Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a security presence
  • Write detailed reports on nightly events and incidents
  • Collaborate with authorities and site personnel during serious situations
  • Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property overnight

Qualifications for Overnight Fire Watch Security Guard:

  • Be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
  • Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
  • Comfortable working alone or with a small team through overnight hours
  • Responsive and strong problem-solving skills
  • If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience - even better!
  • You have a state license if required
