Non-CDL Delivery Driver

Company Overview

With extensive expertise in the import and distribution of Russian and European products, over the last five years we have expanded our offerings to include products from the Middle East, Asia, and the domestic market, creating a more diverse product portfolio.

Position Summary

We are seeking dedicated and reliable Non-CDL Delivery Drivers to join our expanding team. The ideal candidates will have experience with local deliveries, a strong driving record, and a commitment to providing safe, timely, and professional service.

Non-CDL Drivers will operate company vehicles with a Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) under 26,000 lbs. A CDL is not required for this position.

Schedule: 5 days a week
Warehouse Location: South Plainfield, NJ

Job Responsibilities
  • Safely operate company delivery vehicles with a GVWR under 26,000 lbs. to transport and deliver products to assigned customer locations in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Perform local and interstate deliveries as assigned, including overnight or extended routes when required by business needs.
  • Load, transport, unload, and transfer merchandise from the delivery vehicle into customer stores or designated receiving areas while ensuring products are handled carefully and delivered in excellent condition.
  • Complete all assigned delivery routes accurately, safely, efficiently, and within scheduled delivery windows.
  • Verify delivery orders, invoices, shipping documents, and product quantities before departure and upon delivery.
  • Obtain all required delivery documentation, including customer signatures and proof of delivery.
  • Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections and promptly report any maintenance, mechanical, or safety concerns.
  • Follow all applicable transportation regulations, company policies, and established safety procedures.
  • Communicate professionally with dispatch, warehouse personnel, store personnel, customers, and management regarding deliveries, delays, route changes, or operational issues.
  • Assist with loading, securing, organizing, and unloading products to ensure safe transportation and efficient delivery.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-maintained delivery vehicle at all times.
  • Follow assigned schedules while remaining flexible to accommodate route changes, additional deliveries, operational priorities, or other business needs as directed by management.
  • Be willing and able to work overtime, weekends, holidays, or extended hours as required to meet operational demands.
  • Complete all assigned daily duties, deliveries, and operational responsibilities as directed by the immediate supervisor or management team before the end of the scheduled workday, unless otherwise instructed.
  • Provide outstanding customer service by representing the company in a professional, courteous, and respectful manner during all customer interactions.
  • Assist with warehouse operations and other related duties as assigned to support overall business operations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Valid driver's license. CDL is not required.
  • Proven experience making deliveries to local stores.
  • Strong knowledge of local roads and delivery routes.
  • Excellent driving record with a commitment to safety.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with customers.
