We are seeking a full-time RN Supervisor to join our team on the overnight shift, 10:30 p.m.-7:00 a.m. This is a great opportunity for an experienced nurse looking to take on a leadership role while enjoying a consistent weekday schedule. The position offers a competitive pay range of $41-$43 per hour.

What will I do in the role of RN Supervisor?
As an RN Supervisor, you'll lead and support nursing staff to ensure residents at Moravian Hall Square's Health Care Center receive high-quality care. You'll work collaboratively with the RN Clinical Coordinator to monitor clinical practices, support staff development, and ensure consistent implementation of care standards. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Make resident rounds on the assigned units to assess the physical and emotional status of residents and initiate any required nursing interventions.
  • Review and revise plans of care for problems, goals, and approaches, to assure that care is given on a continuing basis.
  • Note and implement physician orders, and supervise to assure that orders are carried out.
  • Assign responsibility for direct resident care to the LPN's and the nurse aides on the basis of staff qualification, size, and physical layout of the nursing unit, characteristics of the resident load, and the emotional, social, physical, psychological, religious, nutritional, and nursing care needs of the resident.
  • Administer medications and perform treatments as prescribed by the physicians
  • Foster a culture of safety, ensuring team members are following safe practices. Responsible for completing thorough investigations, completing reports accurately ad timely, and following up as appropriate.

What do I need in the role of RN Supervisor?
  • Graduated from an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Current licensure by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nurse Examiners.
  • Minimum of two (2) years experience, five (5) years preferred, in nursing supervision.
  • Experience preferred in Gerontology Nursing.
  • Must have caring, compassionate, and honest qualities.
  • Basic computer knowledge required.
  • Must maintain a current CPR certification.
