Job description

Currently, we are seeking a reliable candidate to work in West St Paul, MN.
I am looking for candidates with a minimum of 2 years of caregiving experience who are confident working with individuals with Muscular Dystrophy, including Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA). Experience with transfers, personal care, mobility assistance, and overnight support is required.
SCHEDULE:
Every other week:
Friday: 9pm - 7am
Saturday: 9pm - 7am
Sunday: 9pm - 7am
Duties include, but are not limited to:
• Assisting with showering, grooming, and personal care
• Assisting with meal preparation and cooking
• Preparing for nighttime routine and bedtime
• Setting up BiPAP and other equipment for overnight use
• Cleaning common areas, including dishes, sweeping, and wiping surfaces as needed
• Taking out trash and recycling as needed
• Assisting with mobility, repositioning, and comfort needs
• Encouraging hydration and checking personal needs throughout the shift
• Completing light overnight tidying as needed
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and quiet environment
The ideal candidate should be dependable, professional, patient, and comfortable providing hands-on care. Experience supporting individuals with physical disabilities and neuromuscular conditions is strongly preferred.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check
  • MUST HAVE A VALID MN DRIVERS LICENSE
