Field Installation & Service Carpenter
Stevens Industries is seeking a skilled Field Installation & Service Carpenter to perform repairs, adjustments, rework, and installations on commercial casework and millwork projects. This position requires frequent overnight travel to customer jobsites. When not traveling, this employee will work in the Millwork Division supporting manufacturing operations.
Essential Responsibilities
  • Travel to customer jobsites to complete repairs, rework, warranty work, and installations.
  • Install, repair, and adjust commercial cabinetry, casework, and architectural millwork.
  • Troubleshoot field issues and determine effective solutions independently.
  • Operate a variety of carpentry hand and power tools safely.
  • Read shop drawings and installation plans.
  • Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, and Stevens team members.
  • Assist with production and other duties in the Millwork Division when not traveling.
  • Follow all company safety policies and jobsite requirements.

Requirements
  • Previous carpentry, cabinet installation, finish carpentry, or millwork experience required.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Experience reading blueprints and shop drawings preferred.
