Kelly Services is now hiring Machine Operator Associates for a leading printing ink manufacturer in Carol Stream, IL. In this role, you'll support Mill Operators by helping process raw materials, maintain equipment, and ensure the production of high-quality printing inks in a safe and efficient manufacturing environment.

  • Night Shift: (10:00 PM - 6:30 AM)
  • $20.00 per hour while on assignment
  • Weekly Pay!

What You'll Do

  • As a Machine Operator Associate, you'll assist Mill Operators in the safe and efficient operation of milling equipment used to grind raw materials for the production of high-quality printing inks while supporting production, quality, and packaging requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist Mill Operators with operating multiple mills in a safe and efficient manner
  • Process ink batches according to production specifications and supervisor instructions
  • Follow grinding, packaging, and canning requirements to meet quality standards
  • Monitor mill operations and report issues to supervisors as needed
  • Add raw materials as directed and seek assistance when necessary
  • Follow all quality control requirements and testing procedures
  • Complete packaging activities and ensure proper product labeling
  • Never leave milling equipment unattended without supervisor notification
  • Maintain cleanliness of mills, equipment, and work areas
  • Perform required preventative maintenance tasks and housekeeping duties
  • Follow all safety, quality, and operational procedures
  • Assist with other production duties as assigned

  • Previous manufacturing, machine operation, production, or industrial experience preferred
  • Ability to work overnight hours on a consistent schedule
