We are seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Community Crisis Stabilization (CCS) team. In this role, you'll provide specialized nursing care to adults in a 24-hour crisis stabilization program that serves as a medically necessary, voluntary, and less restrictive alternative to inpatient psychiatric hospitalization.

Our CCS program features a newly renovated 10 bed unit where individuals experiencing a behavioral health crisis receive short-term stabilization and support. Typical stays range from 3 to 5 days but are flexible based on each individual's needs.

Part-Time | 16 Hours

Schedule: Alternating Weekends (Every Other Weekend)

Hours:

  • Friday & Saturday | 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM

LPN shift differentials for the Stabilization Unit position are:

  • 7:00 AM - 11:00 PM (Sat & Sun only) = Base + $1.00
  • 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM (ANY day of the week) = Base + $2.00
  • 3:00 PM - 11 PM (Monday through Friday) = Base + $1.00

What You Will Do:

  • Monitor and document clients' self administration of medications while ensuring safe medication practices.
  • Monitor clients' physical health needs and coordinate acute medical care with direct care staff as needed.
  • Facilitate health and wellness groups and activities that promote recovery and overall well-being.
  • Deliver strength based, solution focused nursing interventions and support individuals in developing Wellness Recovery Action Plans (WRAP) and safety plans.
  • Complete assigned clinical documentation and participate in required trainings to support high quality care.

What You Will Bring:

  • Graduate of an accredited Nursing program (Diploma/Associates/or Bachelor's degree)
  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) must be licensed by the Massachusetts Board of Registration
  • Ability to work independently, exercise sound clinical judgment, and provide compassionate, high-quality care
  • One year of experience in an acute mental health and/or co-occurring disorders setting preferred
  • Familiarity with recovery oriented treatment approaches for individuals with severe mental illness preferred

By joining Aspire Health and Community Services, you will make a direct impact supporting adults during times of behavioral health crisis, collaborate with a dedicated multidisciplinary team in a newly renovated crisis stabilization program, and help individuals achieve stability and recovery in a compassionate, community-based setting.
