Overview
The College of Veterinary Medicine is seeking a Student Employee to assist overnight in the Equine unit. This position in the JTV Large Animal Teaching Hospital is responsible for assisting with patient care in the equine section between 9 pm and 6 am.
Responsibilities
The responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
  • Setting up for emergencies
  • Assisting with hourly walk-bys
  • Administer medications
  • Perform physical exams
  • Hang IV fluids
  • Maintain cleanliness of the hospital and animal areas
  • Restock supplies
