Job description

Job Highlights
This is a full time, travelling MDS position (RNAC). Travel is limited to Monday-Friday (all expenses reimbursed).
Position Summary
Information is power-the more patient information a dynamic team of caretakers can gather, the better care they can provide! The objective of the Mobile Nurse Assessment Coordinator (NAC) is to promote the physical and emotional well-being of nursing facility residents.
The Mobile NAC will travel to client facilities to fill in as needed.
Wage Commensuration
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, education and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
Duties & Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse Assessment Coordinator (RNAC), under the direction of the Director of Nursing (DON) is responsible for the coordination of patient/resident care from admission through discharge.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Must have a current, unencumbered RN license in state of practice
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years direct hands-on nursing experience
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years long-term care experience
  • Preferably at least a minimum 1 year of RAI experience
  • Proficiency in ICD-10 coding experience required
  • Must be able to travel extensively by air or car. Overnight travel is required. (must be able to provide proof of auto insurance). Travel Monday-Friday
