 The Lodge atWhitefish Lake, one of Montana's AAA Four Diamond resorts, is seeking an OvernightHouseperson to work with our Housekeeping Team for $22 hourly.

The Lodge is a 4-star hotel located only 5 minutes fromdowntown Whitefish and 10 minutes from Whitefish Ski Resort. PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES AND POSITION PURPOSE:

A Houseperson is responsible for the cleanliness of commonareas in front and back of house, as well as the restocking and cleaning ofrestrooms both in the front and back of house.  They also respond to radiocalls from the front office and housekeeping team to deliver amenities to rooms(In room amenities, fresh linens, extra pillows, blankets, hangers, robes,slippers, etc.).

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Performs cleaning duties in all public areas and back of house areas
  • Use of houseman carts when cleaning restrooms as well as maintaining inventory of necessary supplies.
  • Emptying garbage, removing dirty linens and towels upon request.
  • Always carries a radio and responds to any amenity delivery requests.
  • Reports necessary maintenance issues to Front Office so a work order is made.
  • Responsible for cleaning the Spa every evening after closure.
  • Assists with housekeeping as needed for Daily Housekeeping Service for in-house guests.
  • Follows departmental policies and procedures.
  • Follows all safety and sanitation policies.
  • Assist other departments when needed to ensure optimum service to guests.

Requirements:

  • Operating Housekeeping equipment such as vacuums, mops, maid cart, etc.
  • Ability and willingness to adhere to all Averill Hospitality policies and ensure departmental personnel compliance.

SCHEDULE AND BENEFITS:

Standing, bending, stooping, and lifting weights up to andincluding 20 lbs. may be required.  The hospitality business functionsseven (7) days a week, twenty-four hours a day.  In addition, this is ahospitality business, and a hospitable service atmosphere must be alwaysprojected.
