Coordinator-Equipment Essential Job Duties:

  • Administrator of the health system asset tracking system.
  • Work with Materials Handlers upon receipt of new equipment.
  • Transports equipment following safety protocols.
  • Rounds to patient care areas to manage equipment availability.
  • Oversee the logistics of specialty rental equipment ensuring paperwork is accurate and issues are shared with Supply Chain Resources for proper invoicing.
  • Works with Finance on asset logging and documentation.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of hospital policies and procedures.
  • Completes other duties as assigned.

Education, Training & Experience

  • High school degree or equivalent required.
  • Valid driver's license
  • Function grasp of standard written and verbal English.
  • Accomplished at basic business math.
  • Basic computer and computer keyboard experience.
  • Flexible work schedule to meet the demands of the department.
  • Experience in inventory methods preferred.
