Job description

JOB SUMMARY: The First Aid will be responsible for the successful operation of providing first aid treatment to all guests and team members in accordance with company policies and procedures.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensure First Aid stations are staffed during park operations and provide timely first aid treatment to all guests and team members.

Responds to calls when dispatched, gains access to the guest or team members and assesses the extent of their injuries or illness.

Communicates with dispatchers requesting additional assistance or services, as necessary.

Uses prescribed techniques and equipment to provide care and provide additional emergency care following established protocols.

Assesses and monitors vital signs and general appearance of guests or team members for change.

Determines appropriate medical facility to which guest or team member will be transported.

Complete accurate record of all incidents on company forms.

Assist with incident investigations.

Always maintain a two-way radio while on duty.

Ensure first aid is adequately stocked with supplies. Notify the Manger on Duty when supplies are needed.

Conduct a daily inspection of first aid equipment and complete daily checklists accurately.

Perform routine maintenance and custodial work on equipment when not performing other duties.

Maintain an environment that keeps safety the number one concern for all guests and team members.

Greet guests, visitors, and team members in a friendly and courteous manner.

Provide excellent customer service.

Keep a clean orderly work area.

Maintain a high level of confidentiality.

Ensure professional development to enhance work knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Adhere to all company policies, procedures, rules, regulations, standards, guidelines, expectations, and requirements.

Ensure completion of work responsibilities and special projects in accordance with the designated time frame, as determined by the reporting leader.

Adhere to company ethical requirements, demonstrating the utmost integrity in all professional and personal matters.

Provide Operations Manager with feedback, ideas, and suggestions on a timely consistent basis.

Assume additional responsibilities as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: High School diploma or equivalent, required

Experience: Minimum 1years' in First Aid Operations or work-related fields preferred.

Certification/Licensure: Must possess a valid driver's license and a current EMT certification. State EMT Certification Required.

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Must possess working knowledge of MS Office applications including Word and Excel.

Ability to troubleshoot situations without delay and act accordingly

Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, evolving environment

Must have excellent oral and written communication skills

Must be able to work varied shifts, including evenings, holidays overnight events and weekends

Must be able to maintain positive, respectful relationships and work effectively with all internal and external constituencies, including team members, community leaders and senior management.

Must have highly developed interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, including presentation skills; ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and persuasively.

Must have a proactive, goal-oriented, can-do attitude. Positive and effective customer service skills.

Must have good teamwork orientation.

Be able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
