Overnight Epic Willow Jobs (NOW HIRING)

An experienced clinical pharmacist is needed to fulfill an overnight full-time role in a hospital pharmacy setting. This contract assignment offers a 3-month duration with a specialized schedule of 7 consecutive days on followed by 7 days off, working 10-hour shifts from 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
Location

• Position based in Saint Paul, MN
• Local candidates preferred; travel pharmacists considered with travel stipends available

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the overnight pharmacist for the primary hospital site
• Provide remote after-hours order verification support for three affiliated hospitals in Wisconsin
• Process overnight prescriptions for ambulatory care and hospice patients
• Respond promptly to clinical emergencies including Code Blue, Rapid Response Team, and Code Stroke events
• Support medication management and care for a Level II nursery including neonates as early as 34 weeks gestation

Primary Workflow Duties Include

• Order verification utilizing Epic electronic health records
• Provide drug information consults and phone support across multiple hospital sites
• Perform sterile IV compounding independently overnight due to limited staffing from 11 PM to 6 AM
• Oversee cart fill, Pyxis refill, and inventory management
• Conduct pharmacokinetic dosing and monitoring alongside anticoagulation management

Qualifications and Desired Experience

• Active Minnesota Pharmacist license is required
• Proven experience with Epic system essential; Epic Willow Ambulatory (WAMB) preferred
• Familiarity with Pyxis ES and BD Pyxis Logistics preferred
• Recent experience in hospital or health-system pharmacy highly valued
