We are seeking an experienced and motivated Project Manager to lead Building Automation Systems (BAS) projects for a well-established and fast-growing manufacturer's rep and controls solutions provider. With a respected reputation and a portfolio that includes major clients such as Epic Systems, this role is ideal for a detail-driven project leader who excels at overseeing energy-efficient and sustainable automation solutions across Wisconsin.

Position Details:
  • Title: Project Manager
  • Location: Madison, WI
  • Status: Full-Time | Bonus Eligible | Overtime Eligible
  • Travel: Local territory with minimal overnight travel
Ideal Candidate:
  • Background managing BAS, HVAC controls, or mechanical system projects
  • Skilled in financial forecasting, scheduling, budgeting, and technical project execution
  • Capable of running multiple projects simultaneously while delivering on schedule and within budget
  • Experienced in coordinating subcontractors, conducting site visits, and overseeing field teams
  • Hands-on experience reviewing scopes, purchase orders, and contract requirements
  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills to guide labor resources
  • Proficient with RFIs, change orders, and closeout documentation
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the execution and delivery of building automation projects
  • Participate in pre-bid reviews alongside the sales and estimating teams
  • Manage field labor, subcontractors, schedules, and material logistics
  • Track milestones, reporting, and documentation to ensure project alignment
  • Maintain budgets and prepare accurate financial projections
  • Serve as the main communication channel between clients, contractors, and internal teams
  • Perform regular job site visits to verify progress and resolve field challenges
  • Assist with contract review and ensure deliverables meet project scope and requirements
